Hello. I started here last month, and when I started (I always start with Merchant and Archer), I couldn't find the Rental NPC. I thought there was no Rental NPC so I went to Hugel to rent a falcon for my Hunter. Later, I found that the Rental NPC is just southwest of the center, near the Job Change and Reset NPC.

I think giving the Rental NPC the same style chat room bubble (don't know the proper term for it) would help newbies find him.
